Cozy apartment in the medieval "Borgo" of PROCENO VT, non-tourist village, still rich
of genuine atmosphere located right at the border between Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria.
Bikers can rent the apartment weekly and enjoy the great cycling routes we have designed,
traffic-free and runnning in one of the greatest biking areas of Italy. Level moderate to challenging.

Ride through the unspoiled landscapes of the Val D'Orcia Valley with its beautiful towns of Pienza and Montepulciano,
skirt the unique volcanic lake of Bolsena, take a relaxing day at the thermal Spa of San Casciano dei Bagni (Siena Province), conquer Amiata Mounts with its challenging climbs, or take your time visiting
the great Rock Necropolis of Pitigliano-Sorano District, reach Umbria art towns such as Orvieto and its beautiful
Cathedral. Surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, Proceno is right in the center of these amazing places.

Bikers renting the apartment can ask us to provide a road map with great loop rides highlighted,
starting directly from the accommodation.
If you have a car (recommended), you can rent from us a rack to transport bikes and extend your rides around
Brunello area (Montalcino, Castiglion D'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni), or reach the heart of Umbria (Todi, Assisi and Spoleto).
Renting bikes with the apartment, will include: delivery/retrieval of bikes directly at the apartment,
gear fitting and mechanical service at delivery (see Bike rental for models and prices).

Details & Costs of 'Casetta Il Poggio'

The Apartment 60 sqm is composed by:
- Ground floor - 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower and 1 lounge with a sofa-bed (2 regular twin beds).
- First floor - 1 bedroom with a very comfortable double bed.
- Loft - washing basin and media room
Total sleeps: 2+2
Includes: bed linen, towels, basic food (coffee, tea, cereals, pasta, spices etc...), electricity, hot water, cooking gas.
Amenities: kitchen stove, craddle, washing machine, iron, hair dryer, TV, DVD/Nintendo.

Weekly cost 430 Euro up to 2 guests, plus 10 Euro/day for extra person.

Other expenses to include: 30 Euro final cleaning

All prices include taxes.

Extras on request: maid service on a regular basis, central heating, transfers arrangements from/to
Orvieto Rail Station or car rental booking at Orvieto.

At a walk reach you have a grocery, a butcher, bakery, farmacy, restaurant and a bar. Besides, there is a bank with
ATM machine and a Post Office. Everything is tiny but at hand. Main town of Acquapendente at 6 km, where you can
find supermakets, gas stations, and other restaurants. At the moment Internet DSL is not available in the apartment,
but there is a free HOTSPOT in main square of Acquapendente, or other solution is to buy an Italian mobile SIM Card
with flat internet service (best mobile internet connection is surely TIM - flat rate mainly 7-10 Euro/1Gb).


How to Book

Send an e-mail with your request and we will check availability, if positive you will pay a deposit of 50% of total due,
and it will not be refundable if you cancel your booking on the last 60 days before rental.
Rentals go from Saturday to Saturday, but if you need to rent the apartment starting from a different day, please
contact us.

Restrictions: no pets allowed and no smoking in this property.
